Night vigil ‘Leads’ Agyarko Home
- 24 Jan 2019 --
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to hold a vigil this evening to honour the memory of the late Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, former NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
Mr. Agyarko died on November 21, 2018, in the United States of America and the remains are to be laid to rest on Saturday, January 26, 2019. His burial service, which is likely to be held in Accra, will be attended by his wives, children, friends and members of his party.
The NPP, in a statement issued by its National Organizer, Sammi Awuku, extended invitations to all sympathizers and indeed the general public to take part in the vigil to pay their respects to the distinguished former parliamentarian, who contributed immensely to the development of the country.
It said: “The special guest of honour is his Excellency President Akufo-Addo. The Speaker of Parliament, the party’s parliamentary candidate for the impending bye-election in the constituency, national officers of the party, ministers of state, Members of Parliament, MMDCEs and other government appointees, as well as scores of party loyalists would be in attendance.”
According to the statement, “Attendees are expected to be in either red or black apparel for the occasion. The converging point is the Bawaleshie Park at 6pm on Thursday”

5:17 pmI know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100 positive. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
